Rather than feel like an add-on for the game it was paired with however, Hitman: Sniper Challenge manages to make itself stand out, in some ways much better than the game that was meant to steal the show. Although it was given away paired with Hitman: Absolution, it comes in its own CD case, has its own icon, and can be purchased separately. The game takes care, however, to be seen as it’s own game and not just a new mode for the game.
Hitman: Sniper Challenge was sold as a precursor to Hitman: Absolution. The game includes just one map, with the entire focus on bringing your target down. In the game, you play a sniper on a mission involving an annual company party for a large corporation. Every aspect of taking a shot is taken into account, from the bullet dropping in height over distance to the travel time of the bullet are all taken into account. If you’ve ever wanted a sniper game that focused on physics, Hitman: Sniper Challenge is a refreshing game that will let you get a true feel for long distance shots.
